On-Demand & Per Diem Work

GigWorx
GigWorx provides flexible, on-demand staffing for its clients by maintaining a pool of vetted, local workers to help at a moment’s notice. Currently, GigWorx has work available in two major locations. The first is Bozeman, Montana. Workers clock in and out using the GigWorx app, and assist with fulfillment, construction, hospitality, special events and more.

Looking for a gig in a larger city? GigWorx also hires healthcare workers in Denver, Colorado. Here, there are a variety of healthcare opportunities available, including work for per diem Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs).

Meal and Food Delivery

If you’ve got reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, you may want to consider driving for a meal delivery service. As you can imagine, the demand for delivery drivers increased significantly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Customer still have the option to choose “contactless delivery,” where purchased items are delivered to their doorstep.

DoorDash
DoorDash allows customers to purchase items from local restaurants, convenience stores and fast food chains and have them delivered to their home. DoorDash drivers, referred to as “Dashers,” can choose their own schedule. Dashers keep 100 percent of customer tips that they receive.

GrubHub
Similar to DoorDash, GrubHub is a food delivery service. Drivers can earn extra cash as needed by determining when and where they want to work.

PostMates
PostMates delivers food, drinks, groceries and more. PostMates drivers pick up everything from food to Best Buy orders. And, you don’t need a car! You can deliver by bike, car, scooter, motorcycle or on foot. The best part? By working for PostMates, you can cash out instantly, at the end of each shift.

Instacart
Online grocery delivery service. Customers can download the app, order groceries from local stores, and get them delivered during their desired timeframe. Instacart workers have the option to be either full-service shopper (you do the shopping and deliver them to customers) or simply an in-store shopper, where you shop for requested items, while someone else would deliver them to a customer’s home.

Ride Share Services

Lyft
Lyft is a community-powered ridesharing platform. Through the Lyft mobile app, locals who need rides are connected with nearby neighbors who can provide rides. Lyft drivers receive a branded emblem which helps passengers identify their approaching vehicle. Lyft drivers go through a vetting process, including a background check. Drivers don’t necessarily have to own a 4-door vehicle; they have the option to rent a car through Express Drive.

Uber
Uber is a direct competitor of Lyft. Uber customers simply download an app and request a ride. Drivers determine their own schedules and have the option to travel and wait at more popular areas of a city in an effort to make more money (think downtown during a big concert). Uber drivers must meet a set of requirements, including possessing a valid driver’s license, using an appropriate vehicle (4-door) with insurance, and completing an online screening that reviews an applicant’s driving record and criminal history.

Rover

Roadie
Roadie is the nation’s first “on the way” crowdsourced delivery platform. Founded in 2014, Roadie works with consumers, small businesses and large global brands across nearly every industry to provide a faster, cheaper, more scalable solution for scheduled, same-day and urgent delivery. Drivers for Roadie can choose deliveries that fit their schedule and earn an average of $15 per trip for driving locally.

TaskRabbit connects users with skilled and trusted local “Taskers” for everything from furniture assembly and mounting to moving and cleaning.
