How do I get paid, and when?

Your earnings will be deposited on Friday of the following week, every week that you work. Your Direct Deposit Form or Pay Card that you completed with Everee during onboarding will direct all paycheck payments. Your W4 Form will direct your tax withholdings — remember, with GigWorx you're a W2 employee, so we pay your payroll taxes and withhold federal, state, and local taxes. At the end of the year, you will receive a W2 document from us. Everee provides your electronic W2 under "Documents" in either the app or web browser by January 31st.

Wages: Unless you are notified otherwise, you will be paid an hourly wage for each shift, determined by the assignment requirements, your skills, and the wage rates in your local area. For this reason, your wage rate may vary from job to job. Each shift will list how much the hourly wage will be for that day so you can make an informed decision before accepting.

An important thing to note is that your hours worked will be added to your Everee account throughout the week as they are transferred from the app. Do not be concerned if they seem incomplete at first — all hours should be finalized by Thursday afternoon. If you see issues at this point, please let us know.

Taxes: GigWorx will deduct those taxes required by law from your pay — Federal, State, and City withholding taxes, as well as Social Security and Medicare taxes. GigWorx pays certain employer taxes such as Unemployment Insurance Tax and Social Security Tax, and you will be covered by Workers' Compensation Insurance. If you need to update your address, please log into your Everee account to update your form, so your W4 information stays accurate and your W2 arrives on time.
